$250.00A Henri Quenvil Art Nouveau vase in enamelled glass, made in France, early 20th century.
This little beauty is berluze shaped with a long flared neck and flattened belly. The clear glass is heavily enamelled with leaves and flowers in pink, black and mossy green. The work is typical of Quenvil, a Paris decorator specialising in exquisite enamelled glass. It is likely that Quenvil bought in blanks from the big manufacturers such as Daum, as did Leune. Henri Quenvil was active from the 1900s to the 1930s, producing both miniatures and some quite monumental pieces. He also made scent bottles for the French luxury company, Marcel Franck.
The vase is signed Quenvil H along the side.
