Art Nouveau alabaster bust of young woman by Richard Aurili
A beautiful Art Nouveau bust of a young woman in alabaster and purple veined marble signed R. Aurili (1834-1914).
Riccardo Aurili trained as a sculptor at the Academy of Florence, winning first prize in 1883 before making a name for himself in France and Belgium. He was based in Paris from around 190.
Engraved signature on the back: Aurili.
