A Raymond Sudre Art Deco drinks marker in the shape of a sailor with flags, c1930.
The sailor is in enamelled chrome and stands by a mast with 17 flags, designed for hanging on the edge of your glass. The flags represent different countries.
It is mounted on macassar wood and engraved “Sudre” on the back of the sailor.

Delightful, rare and unusually complete. Some wear to the enamel on the sailor and the flags.
