Opalescent glass inkwell
A French inkwell and pen rest in opalescent glass / Uranium glass circa 1920. The inkwells give off a soft yellow glow under UV light.
The stand is in milky blue opalescent glass with crisp moulding. It’s shaped to hold a pen and two square inkwells (one for black and one for red?). Even without the inkwell lids, it’s an elegant desk accessory, handy for resting your plume and storing bits and pieces.
The stand measures 7.25 inches x 3.5 inches / 19cm x 9cm.
The inkwells are 1.5 inches / 4cm cubes.
