Legras enamelled glass vase with ‘Japanese’ decor
Tall Legras enamelled glass vase decorated with Japanese decor.
This unsigned late 19th century Legras vase features a thick enamel decor of bonsai tree and blossom on a pale green background. It has an elaborate frieze around the rim.
This elegant vase was sold catalogued under the name “Printemps” (Spring). A pink version is shown in Michel and Vitrat’s reference book on Legras (see last picture). Uncommon model.

In good condition, no chips or cracks, some wear to the inside enamel.
