Large French Antique Copper Braiser Dovetail seams
This is an ample French antique copper braiser dating from the 19th century.
The copper is hammered and is constructed with interlocking seams (dovetails), which are clearly visible around the base.
The three handles are copper and the lid fits perfectly.
Has been previously tinned but the tinning needs renewing.
It measures 11½ inches x 8 inches across excluding handles
Height is 5¼ inches excluding handles
Weight 2,6 k
Very good condition. The interior has been previously brushed with tin but the tinning will need renewing before it can be used for cooking.
