Ingo Maurer spiral lamp
A mid century Ingo Maurer spiral lamp in the style of Ingo Maurer’s iconic design, edited in the 1960s.
Original Ingo Maurer spiral lamps are exceedingly rare but his design soon inspired numerous lookalikes, which varied more or less from the original.
Some were made to a very high quality, like this vintage example.
It features a mount in chrome-plated steel tubing. The shade is a flattened oval globe in smooth white opaline glass, and clips snugly onto the mount.
The lamp takes an E14 screw bulb, has a switch and a French plug.
