Divine Style French antiques, direct from France
French antiques are our speciality. We have a passion for French antiques and an eye for quality and originality.
Drawing on a combined knowledge of antiques and France, we take a real interest in sharing with you the story behind the object. After all, when you buy an object from us, you are the next chapter in the story.
A lot of our customers know France first hand. They enjoy French culture and art-de-vivre. Some are collectors, others simply have a taste for French antiques and décor. They miss not having the luxury of a French fleamarket close by.
If that sounds like you, bienvenue! You’re in the right place.
Divine Style French Antiques is in Ile-de-France, in Greater Paris. We strive to be a link for discerning people who live outside France but appreciate French vintage style and living. All our pieces are original – we don’t do reproductions. Most of our finds are French or are connected with France’s past. We buy almost exclusively in Paris and in the country villages that exist just an hour or so from the capital. Join us for a spot of vicarious tourism in the On the road section – we update our scrapbook regularly!
French vintage lighting
Our changing inventory of vintage lights runs from Art Deco glass to modernist steel and acrylic. In our quest to combat characterless ceilings, we also sell to interior designers and film producers looking for signature period pieces.
French antique pottery and china
France is highly regarded for its refinement, and French ceramics are an expression of that. We pride ourselves in an array that covers Sèvres or Limoges porcelain and Quimper dinnerware as well as rare 20th century studio pottery.
French antique glass
Mixed, coloured, blown, moulded, shaped, cut, sliced, bubbled, dipped, enamelled… a gather of glass has endless artistic possibilities. You guessed it – we’re gaga about decorative glass in general, and French glass in particular.
French vintage scarves
Vive le vintage, we say ! Especially when it’s dressed up with a signature silk scarf from the golden age of Paris couture.
Plus vintage handbags, purses and jewellery, antique French boudoir dolls, vintage barware and kitchenalia and other retro items from the 1870s to the 1970s.
